Organise a therapy group
Group sessions are a great way to receive psychotherapy at a lower cost. You will be guided by a fully qualified psychotherapist with an enhanced DBS. Members will join together in exploring topics to aid in building healthy internal coping mechanisms, learning about and understanding mental health and well-being. We use image making, postcards, natural materials and much more to explore these topics in a gentle, creative way.
Whether you are a charity, school or business, group sessions are a powerful way to decrease anxiety, increase self-efficacy and support positive mental health.
Example topics include:
Exploring and creating a safe space
Ways to manage and cope with anxiety and stress
How we feel about holidays and events
Ways to manage and cope with depression
Self support
Eco therapy
Neurodivergence
And much more!
Peer support has been shown to improve self-awareness tremendously. And you will always be guided by an experienced psychotherapist. I have experience of running groups, including working with Mind and local charity Time4Support, working with parents of disabled children.

Groups for young people
A private therapy group offers the opportunity for young people to talk about and explore feelings in a safe, non-judgemental space. Group work has shown to be a protective factor for teenagers and their families (Malekoff, 2014). They provide an opportunity for young people to talk about any anxiety, confusion, or issues that they may be experiencing.
The groups will include talking, art making, creative projects and more to enhance self-awareness. We incorporate psychoeducation to build mental resilience and aid the development of each member as an individual.
Peer groups are a natural setting for young people, and a fundamental part of our human nature. Whilst guided and overseen by qualified psychotherapists, group members are encouraged to support one another in their growth. This is an opportunity for every group member to learn about themselves, each other, and the world in which we live in.
